Working in the diamond and pearl import and export business at an early age, the founders of Ecksand quickly gained expertise in the world of luxury.  Their experience from the jewelry industry combined with innvoation led to the creation of a cost effective high-end brand available to the public.  Their background in jewelry and their creative minds has paved the road for a successful endeavour bringing a new form of high-end with a natural youthful allure to the playing field of the jewelry world.  The Ecksand founders believe in the emergent appreciation of the rarity and value of natural Colored Diamonds and South Sea pearls, as well as the benefits of buying high quality items in a world saturated with disposable goods.  With multiple entrepreneur contests and awards under their belts, they will be setting the example for years to come.

Smart luxury™ is high-end jewelry with a social and environmental conscience. Ecksand advocates standards and rules in their everyday business such as: "No Blood Diamonds" policy which supports diamonds purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with the United Nations resolutions. Ecksand diamonds are of great clarity and are cut in house with uncanny attention to detail, resulting in extraordinary brilliance. Ecksand pearls and diamonds are carefully selected and embraced for their natural beauty, they are natural with nothing artificial. Our jewelry is made in Canada providing labor opportunities and exportation in North America as well as impeccable quality by being able to control every aspect of production. Our eco-friendly plush packaging is handcrafted in Italy. Ecksand pearls are selected from family owned pearl farms in Tahitii and Australia that engage many members of the communities in naturally extracting and cleaning the pearls. Ecksand leather is recycled and made in India encouraging the fabrication of recycled goods. For Ecksand clients to understand the depth of the quality of their jewelry purchase, included with every Ecksand jewel is a certificate booklet. Our focus is not only to provide our clients with a luxury product hand in hand with nature but to open our doors and give back to our community. For a finishing touch every year a portion of Ecksand proceeds are donated to various charity foundations.
