SHIPPING & HANDLING
The confirmation of order will be sent by email. All shipped packages are insured for the full value of the transported items. All of our packages require adult signature upon delivery. All in stock-items will be processed and sent within a maximum of seven business days. Items out of stock and in back-order will take seven to twelve business days to process and ship. Ecksand is not liable for unforeseen consequences that might delay the processing and/or the shipping of the package. Ecksand reserves the right to divide the order into partial shipments. In this case, the customer’s credit, charge or debit card will only be charged for a single shipment.
Please note that your order will be shipped to the billing address. Orders with different billing and shipping address cannot be processed at the moment. Orders with billing address other than a Canadian or US address will not be processed. Goods purchased via www.ecksand.com may only be delivered to Canada and the Continental United States excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico and all other U.S. possessions and Canadian territories.. Any failure to deliver or a delivery exceeding ten business days from the shipment date should be reported to sales@ecksand.com. If the products ordered do not conform to the original order, or you are not satisfied, you may request a return or exchange in accordance with the Return Policy. The customer accepts all risk for the goods (including loss, theft, or damage of any order) upon shipment.
Orders
All orders are subject to acceptance by Ecksand. Orders are confirmed by email. Once accepted, the order may not be changed or cancelled except as otherwise provided for in this "Terms and Conditions" or as required by applicable law. Customers may also place orders by emailing sales@ecksand.com 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by calling +1 886.726.SAND. It is the responsibility of the customer to check that the information accurately reflects their selection before confirming their order. Upon confirmation, the order will be sent to Ecksand for processing. Ecksand shall not be liable for any error or inaccuracy in the photographs or graphical representations of products displayed on the ecksand.com website. If the customer has any questions about the products, they may contact the customer service department by emailing sales@ecksand.com.
Please be aware that Ecksand reserves the right to accept or cancel your order at any time. Your receipt of purchase or your order confirmation does not signify the acceptance of your order. Ecksand reserves the right to cancel any order placed by a customer with whom it has had a dispute concerning a prior order, or if Ecksand has reasonable ground to suspect that such customer has violated these Terms and Conditions, or is engaged in fraudulent activities. If you are not content or would like to cancel an order, please contact us within twelve hours after your purchase. We reserve the right to carry out an order if the customer doesn’t contact Ecksand within the twelve-hour delay. In order to process the order, the customer must click the “confirm your order” option on their computer. Upon confirmation, the order will be submitted to Ecksand for processing and may not be changed or cancelled except as expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions or as required by applicable law.
Availability
In the event that we do run out of stock, we will ship the rest of your order with the exception of the out-of-stock item, charging your credit card only for the items shipped. We will backorder the unshipped jewel only on the condition that we can deliver the item in a reasonable delay. Attempts to contact the customer will be made if the product is no longer available, out-of-stock, or has been drastically changed. Ecksand reserves the right to change the assortment of items offered on www.ecksand.com from time to time without prior notice to the customer. Ecksand will not be liable if any product is out of stock or otherwise unavailable. In the circumstance that any item a customer selects becomes unavailable after confirmation of the order, the customer service unit will inform the customer by phone or e-mail as soon as possible. The customer will have the option to choose another product, unless the order which was made was a multiple order, in which case the customer service unit will inform the customer by phone or email to communicate which part of the order will ship.
Prices & payments
The prices of Ecksand products are indicated in CA$, excluding taxes and shipping costs. Ecksand.com charges federal and provincial taxes to QC customers, federal taxes to other Canadian provinces and no taxes for US orders as required by applicable law. Orders are shipped from our offices in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. International shipments may be subject to duties and/or fees, which are determined by the appropriate government agency. Buyers are fully responsible if shipments are subject to duties, taxes or brokerage fees upon arrival. Ecksand reserves the right to modify the price of products offered on www.ecksand.com at any time without prior notice to the customer. The customer will be charged the prices displayed on www.ecksand.com at the time the order was confirmed provided that the products are available at that time. The customer is required to pay for any order placed on www.ecksand.com immediately upon confirmation.
At the moment we can only accept payment by credit cards or PayPal. Be sure to provide us with the exact credit card number, expiration date, PIN number, security code and billing address that your credit card issuer has on file. Your order will only be dispatched once Ecksand has verified your payment method, verified the provided information and received authorization to process your payment. The customer’s credit, charge or debit card will only be charged when their order is dispatched. If any of the products in the order are unavailable, Ecksand will only charge the price, taxes and shipping costs for the goods available.
Ten days return policy
Returns must be sent within ten days preceding the date of purchase. Ecksand reserves the right not to accept returns ten days after purchase date. Please note that all returns and exchanges are subject to a quality assurance inspection process before they are accepted. Any jewel with signs of damage, wear or alteration (e.g. re-sized ring by a jeweler other than Ecksand) cannot be accepted. Ecksand reserves the right to refuse returns on any items that have been worn or altered in any way. If you are not satisfied with the item that was sent to you, please contact us immediately. We will issue a return code that will enable a store credit minus shipping costs. Please make sure that returned items are in original box and packaging with full documentation. Please ship all item(s) pre-paid and fully insured. Ecksand is not responsible for loss or damage of returned shipments.
